Decorative brass vessel, niello technique. This type of vessel used to be used as a bucket in a hammam (steam bath), but in this case it is probably just a decorative object that could also be used as a spittoon. Diameter 14 cm, h. 25 cm. Indian bronze lota, engraved décor of lotuses. Diameter 6,7 cm, h. 5,5 cm.
