FLINTLOCK HUNTING RIFLE

Holy Roman Empire, Bohemia, Prague, 18th century Octagonal, than cylindrical steel 16 mm calibre barrel, steel front sight. Marked with four lilies and name „POSER“ with crown and horse. Engraved No. „2“. Flintlock mechanism smooth, non-decorated, mechanically fully functional. Garniture made of gilded bronze plate. Decorated with a motif of rider fallen from a horse and portrait medallion of Emperor. Grid made of walnut wood with carving in Baroque style. Ramrod with horn knob inserted under the barrel. Total length 145 cm. Condition A. Condition A.
