OCTAGONAL SILVER VERGE FUSEE WATCH WITH ENAMELS

England, London, Benjamin Gray (1676-1764) 1st half of the 18th century
Extremely rare octagonal watch with case made of rock crystal set in gilded silver, pierced and color enamel painted ornamental décor. Metal dial with enamels with purple Roman numerals, one fleur-de-lys hand and winding hole. Verge escapement, pierced and engraved plate and balance cock, baluster pillars on square base, marked: "Ben: Gray LONDON". Total (gross) weight 75,94 g, 4x4,5 cm. Wtitten letters nan. Condition A. Working and running well..
