Pendulum clock in Baroque style, h. 50 cm. Wooden case with ormolu relief decorations of carytids, mascarons and flowers. Decorated with finely engraved brass and tortoise-shell marquetry with floral motifs in style of André-Charles Boulle (1642-1732). Case on four decorative legs, glazed door, brass dial with relief décor, Ø 11,5 cm, black Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches for hours and engraved Arabic numerals for minutes. Two winding points, two black hands, relief decoration with enamel label: "THURET A PARIS". Topped with a bronze figure of Pheme. Movement marked: "L.G 1854".
