Oil on canvas, 125x89,5 cm, signed, dated and marked lower right "Ad. Wiesner, Paris 1901". Museum label on the verso: "Portrét M. Alf. Muchy, maloval Ad. Wiesner, Oddel. Alf. Muchy, Portréty č. 9". Exhibition labels with numbers on the stretcher, canvas marked on the reverse with a manufacturing mark "F. Dupré". An exceptional portrait of Alfons Mucha in his Paris studio. The work was restitued by the family of the current owner from The Alfons Mucha Museum in Ivančice, where it was taken after February 1948 from the owners` villa in Brno. Framed.
