Book format 4°, 26,2x19,5 cm. 330 numbered pages, in French. Hardcover, semi-leather binding (calfskin + crumpled paper), spine with four raised bands. Cover at the end. Illustrated with 239 woodcuts, of which 177 original and 9 colour. The chapter devoted to woodcuts in Czechoslovakia shows the works by Helena Bochořáková-Dittrichová or Karel Němec. Issued by Dorbon Ainé in Paris in 1928. 1st edition. 1000 copies on handmade paper with a watermark. Unnumbered copy. Paper with spots, several tiny tears at the edges of the pages c. 1 cm, original cover with notes, otherwise in a very good condition.
