Two colour lithographs on paper, 42x29,5 cm and 29,5x42 cm, signed and dated lower right in white marker/pencil "M. Rittstein 81", numbered lower left "55/70". Published by the author in autumn 1980 and in spring 1981 as the 4th vol. of the edition Postavy (Figures), lithographs and lithographic cover printed by Michael Pichl and Vladimír Bujárek, edition 8x8 - managed by Jaroslav Černý, 60 numbered copies. Damaged cover, 2nd sheet with remnants of tape after adjusting on the verso. Michael Rittstein - painter, draughtsman, graphic designer and illustrator. He studied at the AVU in 1968-1974 in the studio of prof. Arnošt Paderlík and since 2001 he has been working at the AVU as a head teacher in the painting studio. His works are characterised by shape deformation, exaggeration, sarcasm, humour and expressive colour. His works are represented in many important international galleries, such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Albertina in Vienna. Rittstein is a member of the groups 12:15, Pozdě ale přece, Nová skupina and the SVU Mánes.
