FIVE PEWTER BOTTLES

Central Europe, 18th century
Three hexagonal and one smaller four-sided bottle with screw caps and decorative handles. Engraved initials “C A V”, “I.A.” and “A.M.”; the smallest bottle with a pewter mark “H S”. Simple engraved decoration, mainly linear striping. Heights 12 cm, 20 cm, 23 cm and 25.5 cm. Together with: an octagonal faceted bottle with a screw cap and engraved and chased decoration of floral, figural and bird motifs and ornaments, height 27 cm, apparently unmarked. Condition corresponding to the age. Dents, scratches, minor perforation.
