Pastel on paper mounted on board, 23,7x32 cm, signed and dated in pencil lower right "JP 06". Study for a wall painting "Young Man`s Dream" for the vestibule of the federal house in Prostějov. Jan Kotěra mediated the order of the painting, which was painted by Jan Preisler between 1906 and 1907. Other studies drawn in charcoal were created for the painting. A large study for "Young Man`s Dream" - oil on canvas, 75x116 cm, is now the property of gallery in Pilsen. The final paintinng - oil on canvas 221x366 cm is now the property of the town of Prostějov. Framed in a typical frame chosen by the artist. Framed, glazed. Stamped on the verso "Z pozůstalosti prof. Jana Preislera" (From the inheritance of prof. Jan Preisler). With an expert opinion by Dr. Šárka Leubnerová.
