BRONZE VIENNESE "KOMMODENUHR"

Austria, Vienna 1st quarter of the 19th century
Bronze table clock with black Arabic numerals on white enamel dial. Barrel-shaped case is carried by two dolphins on a plinth with figural frieze, topped with a small sculpture of an oil lamp. Quarter chiming. Gilt bronze. 42x24x14 cm. Condition D. Working quarter chiming movement, missing pendulum and key, minor damage of enamel around the right hole. Otherwise complete, running not verified.
