Etching on paper, 24x12.2 cm (sheet 31.8x18.9 cm, mounted on sheet 45.3x35.7 cm), numbered in pencil lower left under the print "80" and signed lower right under the print. mounted, framed, glazed. Compare with: oil on canvas in the collections of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, inv. no. A 299. Joža Uprka - Moravian painter and graphic artist from Kněžduby. He was inspired by his native region, local folklore and the beauty of folk costumes. In 1894, he took a part in an exhibition in the Paris Salon with his painting "Pouť u sv. Antonínka" and he was awarded the "Mention honorable" prize.
