CUP WITH SAUCER

Cylindrical cup with high handle in form of a snake, deeper saucer, white porcelain, light blue font, detailed color painted forest scene with a hunter shooting a deer with two does, rich gilded staffage with pink pearl border. Painted after engraving by J. E. Ridinger "Das Brunfft-Schiessen" from 1743. Compare with: J. Hořava, Šálky západočeských porcelánek z první poloviny 19. století ze soukromých sbírek, 2021, p. 135, no. 27. H. of cup 9,5 cm, Ø od saucer 15,5 cm. Blue underglaze marks "S.", impressed no. "2" on the cup. Condition A-B.
